10 Working Mom Hacks to Get Toddlers to Eat their Vegetables and Not Cook

If you are a full time working mom you have no time.  Add to this that toddlers are picky and annoying when it comes to what they will and won’t eat and that makes meals very challenging.

I made this quick list of food that I give my babies that are vegetables or contain vegetables that you can heat up in less than five minutes on the stove or in the microwave and that they will eat. I have tested all of these items on my babies and these are gold for those evenings when you just can’t cook. Also, all of these recipes are good for toddlers and/or  infants because they are soft foods that are easy on mouths with less or a few chompers. I get all my food with Amazon Fresh because I have no time and they deliver really quickly.

1. Organic Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Soup

I love to serve this with grilled cheese and its always a big hit. My kiddies love to dip their sandwiches. Even if tomatoes are technically fruit, it’s healthy right?

2. Caulipower Margherita Pizza

I love these pizzas when its been a long day and you have 0 energy to do anything but turn on the oven. Best part – babies are eating cauliflower crust! Double Win.

3. Green Giant Veggie Tots

These are great tots for those nights when you give them chicken nuggets. They don’t have to know they are eating cauliflower.

4. Morning Star Chik ‘N Nuggets

These are really good. I like eating them too. I have never met a kid who didn’t like eating chicken nuggets. Best part? These veggie nuggets will make you feel like you are eating the real thing.

I love this cheat when I am tired and need/want time to play with my kiddies. This cooks in the oven and I have that time I crave. Best of all – kids love to eat it and it has spinach!

6. White Cheddar Riced Cauliflower

This one has mixed reviews. My son loves it and my daughter was less a fan. Still, I thought it was pretty good. It is also easy on the small chompers.

7. Broccoli and Cheddar Cheese Bake

This tastes just like macaroni and cheese but it isn’t. Your littles won’t know the difference and they won’t care because it is just so good!

8. Bird’s Eye Veggie Pasta

I don’t know a kid who doesn’t love spaghetti. Well they can eat their spaghetti and you can rest knowing they are also eating their veggies!

9. Birds Eye Sauced Cheesy Broccoli

I will be honest that I am not a fan, but my babies love them probably because they are reminiscent of mac and cheese.

10. Sweet Potato fries

I just tell them these are fries and they love them. They don’t know that they are eating healthy starches.
