All hard working moms can certainly appreciate a piece of furniture that multitasks as much as they do!
Let’s face it, kids have a lot of stuff. The pieces of furniture and organizers I am recommending have these attributes:

3. The new craze now is Washable Rugs like these (Adiva Washable Rugs) – Children can be messy and these rugs are great because you can throw them in the washing machine. Myself, I have three of these carpets that I have strategically placed in both my children’s bedrooms and their playroom. The carpets have withstood the test of time and washed well.
5. If you like to refresh your pillows and want something kid-friendly and washable consider just buying these gorgeous and very luxurious (Ikat) Pillow Covers.
6. Sideboards don’t just hide dishes and cups in the dining room. They can be an artistic statement and hide all your barbie dolls to boot. Check out these awesome sideboards that pack a punch. Since I have a blue theme in my home this one was my favorite pick. Again, I love the texture in this piece for my eclectic design taste.

If you are tight on space and or trying to keep hot beverages off of the table from little hands then consider buying a skinny behind the couch table like this one that goes behind your couch and out of reach. Also, as a side bonus this table has USB ports so you can charge your phone and sit on the couch watching your little ones.
10. Washable chairs anyone? Furniture companies have begun to realize that families need washable everything. I love washable chairs with removable covers that are both modern and practical. Best part of all? They are super comfortable!
